Photoshop 3: Photo Collage
Course Description
Description: Interested in the artistic side of Photoshop?
Are you ready to make more complex image collages - as realistic or
surreal as you desire? We will help you learn to combine images from
multiple sources and teach you some techniques for blending them effectively.
Course Format: This hour-long hands-on class will get you
through a layout from start to finish.
Prerequisite: Basic Photoshop knowledge or have taken our
Photoshop 1 class or the OIT Photoshop class.

Course Objectives
- Present techniques for combining images into a photo collage.
- Expand knowledge of selection tools, layer properties, filters, and image adjustment tools by using the extract tool, eraser, blend modes, opacity, color balance, and brightness / contrast tools.
- Explore image resolution issues when working with multiple images.
Course Outcomes
- Participants should gain an understanding of some techniques used to combine multiple images.
- Participants should gain a deeper understanding of Photoshop tools, layer properties, and image adjustment techniques.
- Participants should start to become familiar with the process of extracting portions of an image.
