University Libraries Web Templates

Here you will find the University Libraries versions of the Creative Services web templates.

In the right column are some resources that may help in understanding the technology behind the new templates which are very different than the old table based templates that were released in 2003. The new templates use Cascading Style Sheets and <div> tags for page layout.

Layouts

Every page uses 3 CSS files to display the page. lib-global.css controls the UT wide elements of the templates. lib-layout.css controls the layout of the content area. lib-content.css controls the look of the content area.

A fourth CSS file, print.css, formats the page for printing by removing the header, footer and left navigation column.
