Location of My Account
Go to the UT Libraries' online catalog. In the upper right hand corner of the page is a link for "My Account" which takes you to a login screen.
Log-in using your NetID and Password (UT students, faculty and staff only)
All other patrons use the long barcode number affixed to your UT Libraries' issued card for both your
username and password. This 14 digit long number begins with ‘29029’.
Change Password: for UT Libraries Barcode Log-Ins only. Not for NetIDs.
You must be logged into your UT Libraries My Account to change your UT Libraries Barcode password.
If you forget or need any other help with your password, call the UT Libraries (974-4351, Ext. 0). We can reset it for you.
For help with NetID log-in and passwords, contact OIT.
Loans
This option shows the number of items checked out to your
account including proxy transactions. By clicking
on "Loans" you will be able to see a list of the items with
their due dates. Renewals may be initiated from this list display.
Hold requests
The number by this option is the total count of hold requests
either waiting to be filled or picked up. By clicking on "Hold
requests" you can see the titles of the items and their status.
Each item links to a record with additional information such as
where your request is ranked when multiple holds exist for the
same title.
Cash transactions
Next to the Cash transactions option is the amount of
money you owe to the Libraries. Clicking on "Cash transactions"
will take you to a detailed list of fines and/or
other charges against your account.
Proxies
Next to the Proxies/Sponsor option you will see the number of proxies you
have. The "Proxies/Sponsor" link leads to a list of
the proxy cards connected to your account.
Update Addresses
Correct street and e-mail addresses ensure that you will receive important notices from the Libraries such as alerts regarding items with approaching due dates.
Note: Updating your address with the Libraries does not change your address
with the University.
Delinquencies
Delinquencies notes the number of your overdue items. For related information see the Libraries' loan periods page.
