Ref. D421.I55, v. 7 - the illustrated chapter "Propaganda and the Arts" discusses posters, radio, film, music, writing and painting in support of the Axis countries or the Allies.
Ref E169.1.G7555 2002 - Volume III ends with a 75-page article "Propaganda" by Richard Alan Nelson; its sections are Historical Outline, Reference Works, History and Criticism, and Research Collections. Following is a 30-page bibliography and list of pertinent periodicals.

Ref. AE5.E3643 2005 - Vol. 26 includes the article "Propaganda," which discusses related terms, history of the theory of propaganda, its components and social control of propaganda. An annotated bibliography is also provided.

Under "Advanced Search," type "debat*" (*= any work ending, such as debates and debating) or "propaganda" in the "Subject Terms" box and add a more specific word in the "Keyword" box. Also type English in the "Language" box. Database includes both articles and books. For non-U.S. topics, use the Historical Abstracts database instead.
In the Thesaurus, type "debate" or "propaganda" under "Browse for:"; then click on the word to see narrower and related terms. You may click on "Explode" to automatically include any narrower terms. After choosing the terms, click on "Add" and then "Search."
In the "Guided News Search," choose "General News" and either "Major Papers" or "Magazines and Journals." Type in "debat*" or "propaganda" on one line and a more specific keyword on the next line. When viewing an article, click on "KWIC" (KeyWord in Context) to see where your keywords appear in the article.
In the Advanced Search, type "debat*" or "propaganda" on one line and "United States" or another country name on the next line to find articles, books and government documents. To limit to English-language material, click on "Change" under ""No search limits set" on the upper right, then click on Language and choose English; finally, click on "OK" on the above right.
Click on "General Search." Then under "Topic:" type "debat*" AND [specific keyword]" or "propaganda AND [specific keyword]" to find articles in peer-reviewed journals in any subject field. Clicking on an article title leads to its summary; clicking on "Find Text" leads to electronic full text, if available, or the library catalog, giving the call number for the paper journal. Click on "Interlibrary Services" if neither electronic nor print format is available at UT.
In Advanced Search, type "debat*" or "propaganda" on the top line and a more specific keyword on the next line to find articles, books and web sites on your topic. To the right of each citation is a list of its descriptors (subjects).
