Giving to the Libraries
Honor with Books provides enduring gifts to the Libraries
You can pay tribute to a special person in your life with the UT Libraries’ Honor with Books program. With a $50 contribution, our librarians will select a book in the subject area you designate. Then, a bookplate honoring the person of your choice will be entered into the libraries' catalog.
Honor with Books allows you to make two gifts. With each reading, the book you have helped us purchase presents a gift of knowledge to UT students. Each time the book is selected in the catalog, the bookplate acknowledges your generosity and your tribute to the honoree.
Honor with Books offers an enduring expression of appreciation for the people who have enriched our lives: teachers, students, new graduates, parents, colleagues, friends.
Honor with Books provides a lasting remembrance of the important milestones in our lives: graduations, retirements, promotions, anniversaries, birthdays and weddings.
When you make your gift to the UT Libraries’ Honor with Books program, a letter of acknowledgement will be sent to you and your honoree (or his or her family). In addition, your name will be listed in the libraries’ annual publication, the Library Development Review.
