ETLA typically organizes five meetings during the membership year; two in the fall and three in the spring. (Our membership year runs July 1-June 30.) Our programs are open to the public, and newcomers are always welcome!

Presented by Chuck Sherrill, Tennessee State Librarian and Archivist

A reflection on 40 years of experience as a genealogist and as a librarian, discussing both
the changes that have occurred in the genealogy field and the challenges that lie ahead
for libraries with research collections. (The lecture was held in conjunction with Sevier County Public Library’s Genealogy Conference.)
