Culture CornerCulture Corner Home
The UT Libraries' Culture Corner, located on the first floor of Hodges Library in the Galleria area, is sponsored by the Libraries' Diversity Committee and showcases titles from the Libraries' collection related to the many dimensions of diversity. A new topic/theme is chosen each semester. The Committee welcomes suggestions for new themes. Please submit your recommendations to Thura Mack.
Summer 2007 Culture Corner:
The Summer 2007 Culture Corner features selected resources relating to disability awareness. The selected resources offer an introduction to the history, culture, and challenges of the disabled in a number of settings. Topics include employment, sports, Disability Rights Movement and laws, as well as education, literature and assistive technology. Disabilities cover many areas, and we have attempted to offer an insight into the many perspectives of disability. Title lists for the branch libraries and an electronic resources list are also available.
