Student Appreciation Celebrations

Diversity Home

Beginning in 2002, the UT Libraries began to hold a celebration to honor our student workers. Student workers who had been with the Libraries for 2 years were honored with a book plate placed into the book of their choice. The students and all Library employees were also invited to a celebration where the Dean presented the students with certificates of appreciation and the chosen books were displayed. The other Library employees also had a chance during the celebration to meet the students who do so much for the Libraries. The Celebrations have continued for the past five years and the Diversity Committee is honored to continue to sponsor this event. Many thanks to LSA for joining us in this endeavor in 2007!
