Consistent with UT's recognition of the interdisciplinary nature of teaching
and learning in our global community, the Libraries gives special emphasis
to acquiring resources that may be overlooked or not purchased through the
existing collection allocations process. Three endowed funds are available
for all librarians to select materials in the following areas.
Environmental Studies (Wolf FENVR)
For resources with either scholarly or popular emphasis, particularly those published in the life sciences, political science, agriculture, forestry, geography, economics, and engineering that would not normally be purchased with existing funds
International Studies (Schiff/Weathers FINTL)
For materials that focus on developments and trends outside the U.S. and would not normally be purchased from existing funds
Statistics (Creekmore FSTAT)
For applied statistics resources, including those in psychology, education, natural sciences, medicine, mathematics, and engineering, that would not normally be purchased from existing funds
Subject librarians should specify the appropriate fund name on orders and forward them directly to Library Acquisitions.
