Frequently Used Tools:

Collection Development and Management

Collection Development & Management works with teaching and library faculty to identify and select information resources that are made available through the University Libraries. The team manages the resources budget, allocating funds for materials held and accessed by the Libraries. The team monitors, analyzes, and reports data about the Libraries' information resources so that collection managers can make informed decisions. Special projects focus on developing and managing the physical collections, and on determining an appropriate mix of locally-held formats and remote access. The team is responsible for designing and implementing preservation services.
