24-Hour Laptops
Eight overnight laptops are available to UT faculty, students, and staff with valid UT IDs for twenty-four hour check-out periods. Patrons will be notified by email when a laptop they requested becomes available. They will have twelve hours to pick up the laptop. At the end of the twelve hour period the unclaimed request expires and the laptop goes to the next person in line. Laptops that are not reserved circulate on a "first come, first served" basis.
Available to: UT Faculty, staff, and students with a valid UT ID.
Request: A 24 Hour Laptop may be requested online or at the Hodges Library Second Floor Circulation Desk. (Help for Online Requests: http://www.lib.utk.edu/circ/online/)
Loan Period: 24 hours from the time of check out.
Renewal: Laptops must be brought to the Second Floor Circulation desk at Hodges for renewal. It may be renewed if no one is waiting for a 24 hour laptop.
