CommunityInfo for Education is designed for educators and includes demographic information for use in classrooms, research, and campus administration. It provides Census 2000 data in shapefile format, including population, employment, and housing characteristics. Information from multiple levels of geography are provided, including block group, census tract, ZIP Code, county, and state levels.

VMAP0 is an updated version of NIMA's Digital Chart of the World. It contains vector-based geospatial data which can be viewed at 1:1,000,000 scale. VMAP0 includes major road and rail networks, hydologic drainage systems, utility networks, major airports, elevation contours, coastlines, international boundaries, and populated places.
