Description: Developed from a merger of high-quality databases from
EBSCO Publishing and H.W. Wilson. The database provides full-text
coverage and indexing to help librarians and researchers
to keep pace with the latest trends in the evolving field of library
and information science.
Contains English and foreign-language periodicals, journals,
conference proceedings, pamphlets, library school theses and books.
In addition, the database provides comprehensive coverage of the history of library
studies. Author profiles are included.
Library & Information Science Source is a combination of all the A&I and full text
records in Library & Information Science Retrospective: 1905-1983 and
Library Literature & Information Science Full Text. In addition there is all the unique
A&I and full text content from Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts,
plus an additional 50 full text titles not available on any other EBSCOhost database.
