  • Shakespeare-Lexicon, 3rd Ed., Alexander Schmidt (1902)

  • A Dictionary of the Characters & Proper Names in the Works of Shakespeare, Francis G. Stokes (1924)

  • The Works of William Shakespeare (Henley Edition, 1888)

    All information has been extensively edited, revised and reformatted for electronic access. Where possible, the editors have corrected errors of fact and omissions, modernized much of the language and expanded unusual abbreviations.
