Biology Databases thru Web of Knowledge
Search several top biological sciences databases simultaneously:
Biological Abstracts, CABI, Zoological Record, Food Science and
Technology Abstracts, and Web of Science. Each database may be
searched individually also.
Encyclopedia of Life Sciences
Concentrates primarily on the molecular and cellular life sciences, including biochemical topics, methods and techniques. Applied areas of science are also included on a selective basis, as are biographies and general interest articles on ethics and the history of science.
Journal Citation Reports
Uses citation data from over 8,400 journals (over 3,000 publishers worldwide) to evaluate and compare scholarly journals.
Medline / PubMed
Essential database for biomedicine. Includes citations from MEDLINE and for biomedical articles in life science journals. A product of the National Center for Biotechnology Information.

BioOne Abstracts & Indexes via Proquest
1998 - current
This database is an indexed and fully-searchable collection of abstracts developed by the American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS), SPARC (the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition), the University of Kansas, the Greater Western Library Alliance and Allen Press. It provides a unique aggregation of nearly 100 high-impact bioscience research journals from around 70 publishers.
