The University Archives is located on the University of Tennessee, Knoxville
campus. The campus is easily accessible from nearby interstates I-40 and I-75,
and driving directions are available on the UT General Info website. Patrons
interested in visiting campus by airplane should consult airlines and flights
schedule found on the McGhee Tyson Airport website. From the airport, taxis,
bus service, and car rentals are available, with U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway) serving
as a link between the airport and campus.
The Archives is located on the second floor of the
James D. Hoskins Library,
situated at the corner of Cumberland Avenue and James Agee Street. Patrons
may park at the public parking garage also on James Agee Street, just behind
the University Center, or at metered spaces throughout the campus. If no parking
spaces can be found in these two locations, patrons should consult the parking
information booth at the corner of Volunteer Boulevard and Circle Park Drive.
Materials from the Archives can be requested through the
Special Collections
Research Room.
