Abstract: This collection was compiled by the University Historian, Milton Klein, and were originally part of the Historian's Files, AR-15. It consists of prepared speeches from various University of Tennessee Presidents and Chancellors. It includes speeches to groups, organizations, other universities, press releases, prepared statements, and handwritten notes.

Biographical Note: Charles Weaver was Chancellor of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1968-1971. Archie Dykes was Chancellor of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1971-1973. Jack Reese was Chancellor of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1973-83 and 1984-1989. James E. Drinnon, Jr. was chancellor at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.
     Andy Holt was president of the University of Tennessee from 1959 to 1970. Ed Boling was UT president from 1970 to 1988. Lamar Alexander was UT President from 1988 to 1991.
