Biographical Note: The University of Tennessee Space Institute is located in Tullahoma, TN. It is a graduate education and research institution, adjacent to the U.S. Air Force Arnold Engineering Development Center. It was established in 1964, and includes graduate research programs in engineering, physics, mathematics, and aviation systems.
Scope and Content Note: This collection contains the self study for the University of Tennessee Space Institute in Tullahoma, TN, for 1970. It includes a description of the graduate program and studies being conducted by students, as well as admission requirements, program specifics, students, faculty, research opportunities, facilities, future program recommendations, their relationship to Arnold Air Force Base and the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC), statistics, and faculty resumes.
