Students: Research Help

The Office of Multicultural Student Life offers tutoring for agriculture classes on Wednesdays from 5-8 p.m. and Sundays from 3-6 p.m. in Pendergrass Library Study Room E.  Tutoring for the spring semester begins on Wednesday, January 20, and goes through the end of classes.  Tutors will be available for the following classes in spring 2016:

  • Animal Science (ANSC) 220, 330
  • Biology (BIOL) 111, 112, 150, 160
  • Chemistry (CHEM) 120, 130
  • Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries (FWF) 212, 312, 317
  • Forestry (FORS) 215, 314
  • Math 125

Wellness Activities

Pendergrass Library support wellness on the agriculture campus through yoga and meditation:

Yoga is available to UTIA students, faculty, and staff Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:15-6:15 p.m.  The cost is $3 per class or $10 pay-in-advance for the month.  The class takes place in either the Sequoyah Room on the second floor of the Veterinary Medical Center, or in the Pendergrass Library Alcove.  Click here for more information.

The Ag Campus Meditation Group meets in Pendergrass Study Room G every Wednesday from 12-1 p.m. and Friday from 7:30-8 a.m.  This supportive community is open to all UT students, faculty, and staff, both beginners and advanced practitioners.  Join the Facebook group for updates and visit the Meditation and Mindfulness Guide for resources for take-home practice.
