Government Documents at Pendergrass Library

The Collection
Pendergrass Library was the state depository for agriculture publications through 1989 and has followed Government Printing Office guidelines to keep publications of historical significance that were published prior to this date.
These selections are made from publications offered by the agencies within the United States Department of Agriculture and published by the GPO. The emphasis of our collection is USDA publications. In addition to our agriculture publications, Pendergrass has an extensive collection of Soil Surveys.

Identifying and Locating Government Documents

The Government Document collection is located in the Pendergrass Library's main stacks area. Part of the collection is cataloged under GPO class numbers and the remaining publications are under the Library of Congress classification system.
A significant portion of the collection can be found by searching the UT Libraries Catalog.
