Building Access
Patrons are not required to sign-in or show identification in order
to enter and use the Libraries.
Use of Print Resources
The Libraries' print collections are available to all users for in-house
use. Visitors requiring materials from Library Storage, should use a
Storage
Request Form to order materials in advance.
Use of Online Collections
and Resources
Visitors and alumni may use guest computers to access the Internet and
the Libraries' electronic resources.
Borrowing Privileges
Visit the Circulation pages for information on borrowing
privileges. Non-UT affiliates may also borrow materials by using
Interlibrary Loan at their local public library or may purchase a borrower's
card.
Photocopies and Printing
Making photocopies costs
six cents per page and requires a copy card. Money may be added to a
card at a copy card dispenser using cash bills. Printing from guest computers is not available. Alternatives to printing may be to save the information on a flash drive or e-mail the information to yourself.
Assistance
For assistance locating materials or using resources, visit the Research
Services Desk in the Commons. If you have questions that you would like to ask prior
to your visit, you may email
your question or call.
Groups
Organized groups with questions about a library visit may contact Alison Bolorizadeh.
Directions and
Parking
During business hours, visitors to Hodges Library should park at the
University Center Parking or at a street meter. After 5:00 p.m. and
on the weekend, visitors may park in any staff or commuter lot. Location
and parking information is available for the Agriculture
& Veterinary Medicine Library and Music
Library.

Note: Parking is very difficult on home football game
days.
Computer Use
in Hodges Library
Visitors may use guest computers located on the ground floor to access
the University Libraries’ collections and government publications.
Children must be supervised by an adult chaperone.
