1. UK/UTK listserver for communication between partners established. 1995
2. Joint staff development trip. 1995
3. Alliance meetings held in Berea, KY, Oct. 1994; Knoxville, TN in April 1995; Cumberland Falls State Park, Nov. 1995
4. CLR grant proposal submitted, Spring 1995; awarded Fall 1995
5. Participation in joint research project on academic library roles. Fall 1995
6. UTK collection development librarians train UK librarians to administer the RLG Conspectus. UTK staff conducted training at UK in March 1995. UK is currently working on the Conspectus
7. Sharing preservation microfilming expertise. Diane Perushek visited UK microfilming center in March 1995. While at UK she gave a lecture on her preservation microfilming project in China
8. Informal staff visits: UTK agriculture library staff visited UK, Spring 1995. Several UK librarians visited UTK and held concurrent meetings, Spring 1995. Collection development counterparts met at Lake Cumberland, Fall 1995
9. UTK makes gift to UK of numerous volumes from its Arabic language collection. UK and UTK history faculty members confer on this effort. UK has special cataloging project underway for Arabic language materials. Fall 1995
