Information Alliance
Celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Information Alliance, forty-two librarians from the University of Kentucky, University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University participated in a full day seminar to expand a shared vision for collaborative collection development, to learn about successful projects of other consortia, and to plan for future collection management projects. Julia Gammon, Head of Acquisitions at the University of Akron, gave a presentation about the Books-Not-Bought In Ohio and other OhioLINK collection projects. The program also featured a conversation among Information Alliance directors about their vision for collaboration, discussion among participants to chart a vision and next steps, and updates from counterparts on collection projects.
